Why use Phosphate control? The benefits explained here...
While not directly affecting your animals, Phosphate is a key source of food for your unwanted Algae growth. Lanthanum (III) Chloride is a well recognized product, which has been widely used in the hobby industry for decades, to dramatically reduce Phosphate levels. Lanthanum (III) Chloride instantly reacts with Phosphate to create Lanthanum Phosphate and Lanthanum Carbonate, which remains insoluble, until it is removed by either macro or micro filtration.
Our specialized range of solutions are specifically designed to provide your exhibits and pools with not only the clearest water, but a reduction in unwanted Algae growth by diminishing Phosphate levels. With over 30 years of experience in the Large Aquarium/Public Aquarium industry there’s no body of water too small, or too large that we can’t treat.
By combining Lanthanum (III) Chloride, and other suitable flocculants, we’ve managed to formulate solutions that suit every Pool and Aquarium, by adjusting the active ingredient concentrations.
Now for the best part, the cost benefits...
Phosphate control is not just a benefit for the animals, it's a benefit for the Balance Sheet. By taking away the food for the Algae, you also reduce the quantity of Oxidant that was previously required in order to maintain a clean, healthy system. In addition to this, the amount of time your Dive Team used to spend cleaning, can be reduced by well over 50%. Just calculate how much that will save.
